MT Hood Summer Guided Hikes
See MT Hood from all sides and through three distinct National Forest Ecosystems this summer.
Service Description
This summer, make your way up Mount Hood and learn about the plants and ecosystems along the way. In June, we will hike the Ramona Falls trail, a 7.5-mile out-and-back featuring amazing views of MT Hood, rhododendron, and other wildflowers, and a beautiful waterfall. In July, we will hike a portion of the 11.5-mile round-trip trail. This trail features sub-alpine plants, berries, and beautiful lake views. We will end the hike with a dip in the lake. August will be our alpine foray along a portion of the Cooper Spur trail. We will ascend from the start of the Ramona Falls Trail at 2,440 feet to the top of the Cooper Spur Trail at 8,510 ft above sea level. See the mountain from all sides this summer.
